I had a chat with a guy who sounded Asian earlier today through the THREE app. He claimed to be a rep for THREE and after a lot of talking, he told me someone would call me from that number to sort my new phone order since he was a sales rep. But, when I followed up with THREE later tonight, they said there’s no record of any chat or call with an agent on the app. They said all calls and chats are logged but none showed up for this one.

Absolutely dodgy! Received a call purporting to be from Three, from a chap with a heavy Indian accent. He was fishing for whether I was in need of a new phone or SIM deal, even tried offering me a Samsung. Then he sent me a sketchy text, urging me to click a link. When I suggested I’d prefer to get the details in an email, he started insisting on my email address. I pointed out that if he truly was with Three, he ought to have it on file already. He didn’t take kindly to this and became increasingly pushy. He even claimed he had to get it from me or risk losing his job! I stuck to my guns and refused to give it up, at which point he abruptly cut the call. What a scam!

Got a call from a guy with a really thick accent, couldn’t catch what he said exactly but he kept mentioning "3" and some offer stuff. Told him I wasn’t interested in adding any bills right now, he just said thanks and hung up. Not sure if it was really from "3" or not, but I’ve blocked the number anyway.

I’m with Three but I’ve never got any cold calls from them about deals or anything. I’ve just blocked the number anyway. Last I heard, cold calling’s not allowed anymore so I doubt it’s actually Three anyway, but who knows.

Got a call from someone saying they're from Three. When you ring them back, if you press "211" once the automated message kicks in, they say that'll take you off their call list.

Real Three Mobile calling with special offers - I just let it ring through to voicemail. When I called back, it was an automated line to opt out of their calls, took about 10 seconds. Now they’ve stopped ringing me, so all sorted, no bother!

I've had quite a few calls from this number recently. Each time, it’s an Asian gentleman on the line who just keeps saying "hello," yet he never bothers to tell me who he is. Quite odd, really!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from 3, total scam. Not sure where they got my number, maybe 3 got hacked and kept quiet about it. Just a heads up, legit companies never ask for your card details or personal info over phone or online.

Had a missed call from this number, they said they left me a voicemail but when i checked it was totally silent, just a couple seconds of dead air. Dunno what that was about.
