Got called a couple times one day, and when I answered, the person said they were from Three trying to push some deal, which I said no to. They have been ringing every day recently. I just reject the call and then it either leaves a silent voicemail or someone with an Indian accent says ‘hello’ then ends the call. I just rang 3 using my 3 phone by dialling 333. I gave them these numbers: 0333 338 1021/1018/1017, which have been bugging me loads, and they said these are 3 numbers. Honestly, I'm a bit puzzled now.

With the counterfeit one, they do actually offer an option (2-1-1) to 'take you off our list' - but that just results in another call back within minutes, which I ignored. If anyone’s got a moment, I’d recommend ringing Three directly using the numbers on their official site (or 333 from a Three handset) to double-check it’s a scam; then maybe contact the UK police on 101 to report it, following Three’s own advice. It really feels like a pretty clever phishing attempt, and I’m sure Three will want it stopped just as much as we do.

I've had loads of calls from this number. They say they're from 3, but if you dig a bit, it turns out they're just a private firm not connected to 3, trying to sell extra 3 contracts. If you end up buying one, it won't be an upgrade to your current deal but a new, separate contract you'll have to pay for. Remember, you can legally cancel any contract within 14 days thanks to consumer protection laws made to stop this kind of dodgy behaviour.

They’re the company I have my mobile with, but I’ve only had the phone for about a year and my two-year contract isn’t even finished yet! Plus, I have the newest phone model so I’m sure I’m not eligible for an upgrade. It’s weird that my own provider would try something like this, but I’ll just keep blocking the number!

I've been bombarded by this number for the past week, starting with 03333381015. I clearly stated that I wasn’t interested in upgrading or any SIM offers. But then, just two days later, I got another call from 03333381017. Naturally, I decided not to pick up and promptly blocked it. Today, however, I received a call from 1018, which I blocked right away as well. It's infuriating because now I'm receiving calls from a whole series of numbers ending in 1019, 1020, 1022, 1023, and 1025. I’m just ignoring them and blocking them the moment the ringing stops. It’s becoming so tiresome! I reckon I might have to get in touch with 3 and demand they sort this out.

Got a call from someone at Three trying to sell me a new phone. Thing is, if they already know I'm a customer, they should know about my current contract and that I’m nowhere near due for an upgrade. Just got a ring from this number a short while ago. The woman on the line already had my name and number, which kinda freaked me out. She said she was ringing from Three, my mobile provider, and was offering a phone deal for £12 a month. But that seemed odd to me - why would they push a cheaper plan when I’m already paying £23 a month? I phoned the number back and it does belong to Three. So yeah, it looks like their marketing team is cold calling folks with these unsolicited offers.
