I received a message from Three promoting a rather tempting upgrade offer and advising me to ring this number. I can't help but feel a bit sceptical about its authenticity...

I received a call from this number but sadly missed it. When I attempted to return the call, I was met with an automated voice purporting to be from Three, my mobile carrier, which requested my mobile number. Concerned, I reached out to Three directly, only to find out that they had made no such attempt to get in touch with me. The chap from Three was quite unhelpful when I asked about reporting the number, so I thought I'd post here in case anyone else encounters the same dubious situation. Let’s help each other avoid falling into this trap!
