This is the fourth time in a couple of days I've had calls saying they're from Barclays. Weirdly enough, I did speak to Barclays a bit earlier; their recorded message mentioned issues with card payments and asked for patience while they fixed things. Then the agent told me I might get a call about the transaction we talked about. The next incoming call listed some transactions - some looked legit, others definitely not. From now on, I’m just ignoring calls from numbers I don’t recognise. Watch out, folks!

Be careful with these calls! They rang both my work landline and my mobile. It was some automated voice that almost got my name right, just a little bit off. I received three calls from this number on Friday, 29th October. They insisted that I contact Barclays using that same number as there was an issue with my account. However, after reaching out to Barclays directly, I discovered it was all a scam.

This number rang us saying they were from Barclays fraud team. As soon as they heard my hubby speak, they just cut off. We checked with the real Barclays afterwards and they said it was definitely a scam. Don’t believe a word from this number, block it straight away. If someone says it’s legit, they’re probably part of the scam too.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Barclaycard, but the truth is, I don’t actually hold a Barclaycard myself. Quite baffling!

They have rung my mum four times, saying they are from Barclays and her card has been used without authorisation. She didn’t share any info and then phoned Barclays herself. They said it’s a con and everything with her account is ok. Need to block these calls.

My elderly mum received a phone call purporting to be from Barclays, warning her of supposed fraudulent transactions linked to her account. Thankfully, she hung up and decided to contact Barclays directly. They confirmed it was indeed a scam and assured her that her account is entirely secure. Interestingly, the number that called her is an actual Barclays number if dialled out, suggesting they've cleverly spoofed it. Just a heads up to others-stay vigilant and don’t engage!

Anyone claiming this is a real Barclays number is most likely trying to scam you. I’ve had multiple calls from this same number even though I don’t bank with Barclays at all. My advice is to stay cautious and don’t trust any of it.

03332027461 called my 96 year old mum twice on the same day, 8th Sept 2020, once at 12:16 pm and again at 2:12 pm. They were asking for a different person on each call. I always tell mum not to pick up if she doesn’t know the number, but sometimes she does anyway. She told them she’s not who they’re looking for, but it’s odd they called back asking for someone else. Some people say it’s Barclays Bank and legit, but mum’s never had an account with Barclays at all. Just thought I’d warn others about this number.

I got a rather alarming message from this number, urging me to ring back due to an urgent matter linked to potential fraud on my bank account. It all seemed quite dodgy, so I decided against returning the call. Definitely a scam!

Every bank number you get called from is faked by crooks. Check post from 24/05/19, it explains just what steps to follow. Legit banks have no problem if you inform them what youre doing. Scammers will only shout abuse at you. Stay careful everyone.

Got a call from this number and I dont knw if its really Barclays or not. There was a recorded voice telling me to press any button to continue. I just hung up and phoned Barclays to check.

I received a call from this number, and when I looked it up, it appeared to belong to Barclays according to their official site. However, the person on the line mentioned a name that isn't mine, and I’ve never held an account with Barclays at any point. To make matters even stranger, I also received a text from Barclays and another message from 60221 regarding a £0.00 transaction that was declined in the US. Quite baffling, to say the least!
