They called saying I’d apparently used £125.00 worth on my phone this year till August, and then started pushing a sim-only deal for £10 a month. These phone numbers arent from the real o2, ive been to one of their shops and chatted with the team there. They said always ring the number listed on their legit website. Any call saying its o2 and asking for bank info is a con to steal your details and hack you. If you ever feel doubtful, ask them stuff like your address or account number to make sure they are who they say. Dont trust these dodgy numbers.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent asking a bunch of marketing questions trying to get me to agree to a free magazine or a call from companies with cheaper deals. They said they were a money-saving company. Just said no to everything and let them burn their cash.

Got a call from someone saying they had a new offer and were from o2. I wasn’t convinced so they called me again the following evening. I didn’t pick up cos I wasn’t certain it was genuinely o2. They seemed to know I’ve been with o2 for a good few years, but there’s no way I’d share my bank details with that number just in case it’s dodgy.
