Got a call from this number recently but didn’t pick up, figured I’d wait to see if they left a message like they often don’t. From what I’ve read here, it seems like these numbers get leased to different businesses. Some recent posts mention Vodafone, which sounds plausible since I hit my data limit last week and reckon they were probably ringing to pitch more data bundles.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone, and the lady spoke pretty quickly but I suppose they’re on a schedule. They rang me because I’d just added an extra 1GB of data to my plan. They ended up offering me a better package with more data, which I was happy to accept. The questions about security didn’t dig up anything too personal that wouldn’t be easy to find anyway, and they didn’t ask for anything sensitive. Not sure why others are worried about it, seems normal to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Vodafone. They even knew my postcode and birth month, which was a bit worrying. They told me my data was nearly used up (which it actually was) and blamed it on a software update I’d recently done. Then they started trying to sell me extra data. I got a bit suspicious and nicely said no thanks. The guy was quite polite and wished me a nice day. Doesn’t feel right to me, looks like a scam in disguise.

Got a phone call about Vodafone the other day. They started asking me some security stuff but I refused to answer and asked them to prove who they really were. Then they tried to send me to a strange website to check if the call was real. Luckily, I used this site to look it up and found out pretty quickly that it was a scam.

I usually just ignore calls like this but this scammer’s been ringin me every single day! I’ve tried blocking and deleting the number but it doesn't make any difference. If I keep hanging up, why do they even bother calling again? Proper idiots, honestly!

About a month after switching providers, I got a call from someone saying they were from Vodafone. They even knew my name and chatted about how I was getting on. I told them everything was fine and I was happy with my service. They kept trying to sell me on saving some cash, asking questions like, "Aren't you interested in saving money?" I just kept saying I was happy and then ended the call.

Its a bogus 02 call centre ringing you up askin if you want a phone contract then they go on to ask for your bank details. I just hung up on them but they kept calling me back like 5 times. They sound friendly over the phone but trust me, they’re all scammers. Dont pick up this number, its a fake call centre trying to scam you.

I didn't answer the call but from what people are saying, it's linked to 02. I completed a survey to try and win a voucher and gave my phone number there, I reckon they passed it on to 02 since the survey asked if I wanted info about 02 services. I said no, but guess it doesn't really matter now.
