The call only lasted about 7 seconds and there was no one talking. A mate told me it’s probably a scam where they take money as soon as you pick up.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2 sales. They began quite nicely, but when I said I was happy with my current plan, the tone changed. The caller mentioned the call was recorded, then suddenly got pushy, insisting I should really be spending more each month “just in case.” I tried explaining a few times why I didn’t want to upgrade, but after a couple of attempts, they just hung up on me halfway through my sentence. Not much use recording calls if they just cut you off and move on to find someone else to hassel. Typical.

So annoying! He kept saying he couldn’t sort out the issue by email or mail. The worst part is, he never actually said what he wanted. I just told him to buzz off in the end.
