Got a call just now from some bloke called Matt with a proper posh English accent, said he wanted to offer me a tablet since I have four O2 phones. He rattled off loads of my personal info, like last three digits of my account and last two of my sort code. Then he asked for my card number for 'security purposes'. I know from the phone shop you only need your card for a 1p credit check, so when he asked for the three numbers on the back of the card, I said no way. Then he passed me to someone else but I swear I heard a kid with a foreign accent in the background. I just ended the call there.

Got a call saying it was from 02 but there was no security check or anything. I asked if they were some 3rd party and they just dodged the question. Kept pressing them for info about who had contracts at the address, what phones or networks they used. I just kept wasting their time until they got rude and slammed the phone down.
