Just got a call on my mobile this morning from 03002003927 claiming to be 'HMRC'. It was one of those recorded warnings about a fraud investigation or something, saying that if I didn't press 1 to talk to an officer, I'd have an arrest warrant out for me. Bit scary, but I didn’t fall for it. Earlier, I missed a call from 03002003932 while driving and I reckon it was linked to the same scam. I’m curious though - if someone actually pressed 1, how does the con play out? Has anyone else been through it?
