Feels like HMRC might be pulling a fast one on us just to rake in more cash, or maybe they’re just outright scammers. Hard to say anymore. I’m seriously losing trust in the whole setup with all these AI phone bots that don’t care about wasting your time. If any government agency actually has their act together, please sort these fraudsters out. There really should be stricter checks before anyone can get a phone number or bank details.
