Hey guys, just want to share that I got a call very similar to the one here, but it was from another number: 02092005914. It happened yesterday, 5th Nov 2019. Same kind of threat, just a different caller ID. Watch out!

Got a call from 03002003939 earlier saying they would arrest me within a few hours. I just hung up straight away and didn’t say anything. It’s been like 7 hours now and guess what? No one’s come to arrest me. Seriously, we need to warn older folks and those who are more vulnerable about this kind of scam right away.

So first they wanted my full name, my address and even my postcode. Then they said I owed money to HMRC and that the local police would be coming to arrest me. This is just ridiculous! I'm definitely going to report this to the cops.

Heads up, got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent using English names - definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a robotic message saying it was from HMRC. Total scam, no doubt about it. If HMRC wanted to contact me, they’d definitely send a letter in the post. Plus, while the start of the number matches what HMRC might use, those last four digits ain’t listed anywhere on their official site for contact numbers. Definitely a dodgy call.

I just got a voicemail from this number saying HMRC was going to arrest me for fraud. Honestly, sounds dodgy to me, so I’m just gonna wait and see if they actually send a warrant. Pretty sure it’s a scam - they’re probably spoofing the caller ID to make it appear like it’s actually HMRC.

I got a robo call supposedly from HMRC, but it was pretty clear it was a scam. I’ve had dealings with HMRC before and they never do those automated voice messages like that. Usually, they just send an official letter in the post.

Got a text from this number saying HMRC's got me in a fraud investigation and if I want to sort it I should press 1, or else I'd be arrested. - caller: 03002003939 The call said it was from HMRC about some fraud they've claimed I’m involved in. They tried to scare me, saying a senior police officer would be assigned and I'd get arrested if I didn’t keep on the line. When I said fine, go ahead, the call just ended. Don’t fall for this one, it’s a total scam. HMRC will NEVER call you like this. They always send letters first. Plus, they don’t ring from 0300 numbers, just so you know. Caller said HMRC - what a joke!

Got a call from 0300 200 3939 earlier today. It started with an automated voice saying to press 1 and mentioned some kind of arrest warrant. It sounded so familiar, like one of those scam calls I’ve heard before, so I just hung up straight away. With the tax year wrapping up tomorrow, seems like HMRC impersonators are busiest now.
