I’ve been on my state pension for 8 years now, so obviously it was a scam. These calls seem really dodgy, best just to ignore and hang up. This number just rang me up telling me I've got a criminal case for unpaid taxes and I need a criminal lawyer or else, and that I gotta pay up immediately to sort it. When I answered, the voicemail sounded like some Asian or Indian accent, but when someone actually spoke to me, it was a guy or lady with an African or maybe South Asian accent. Real suspicious.
