Phone number ☎️ 03002003904 👆 is reported as a notorious scam number impersonating HMRC, using automated calls to frighten recipients with threats of arrest for tax fraud unless they press a key to speak to an alleged officer. Callers often feature non-UK accents and provide inconsistent details, attempting to extract personal information or direct victims to suspicious numbers. Many users have confirmed it is a fraudulent operation, emphasising that genuine HMRC communications come via postal letters, not unsolicited calls. The scam poses significant distress, especially to vulnerable individuals. It is strongly advised to ignore and block the number, never press any keys or provide personal details, and report incidents to official fraud prevention bodies. Awareness and vigilance remain crucial to preventing harm from these persistent threats.

I received a call from 03002003904. An articulate gentleman-though I suspect it was a recording-prompted me to hit 'one', implying that failure to do so would result in my arrest for tax evasion. Naturally, I decided to terminate the call immediately.

Got a recorded female voice saying HMRC's opened a tax fraud investigation on me. It told me to press 1 to talk to an officer. Honestly, if this was real, I reckon a proper person would ring me up straightaway to explain.

If people dont report every single scam call to the police via their Action Fraud site then the cops cant do anything and these criminal gangs will keep slipping through. We've got to take responsibility and make sure to report all scam calls, texts and emails. Also, it helps to warn others about particular scams right here on this site.

It was really odd. The phone started with a British ring, then suddenly changed to an American tone. Seriously, what’s going on!? A lady answered and said she’d connect me to a chief officer. Then a guy with a thick Indian accent said he was from HM Revenue & Customs. He mentioned something about fraud and that there was a warrant for my arrest. I just ended the call right away because I knew straight away it was a dodgy HMRC scam.

Naturally, I pressed the number, only to have the line disconnect abruptly. They mentioned something about it being a scam, but when I attempted to call back, the line was unresponsive. It’s all quite baffling! Is there any truth to this, or is it just a load of nonsense?

A rather dodgy automated call came through, instructing me to press one. Naively, I complied, and it redirected me to another number, 020 7947 6000, where a chap on the line claimed to be from the Court of Justice. He went on about a warrant for my arrest being issued, insisting I had to settle my taxes immediately, or face severe consequences. Naturally, I was sceptical and voiced my doubts. He urged me to Google the number, which did indeed link back to the Court of Justice. However, I soon discovered that some tricksters have been abusing this number for their deceitful schemes. Received a dodgy call from this number, totally unsolicited. I haven't looked into it yet, but I'm fairly certain it's some sort of scammer. Best to keep your wits about you!

Got a call from 0300 200 3904 the other day, it was some robot pretending to be HMRC saying there was a fraud case against me. They said if I didn’t press 1 to talk to them, I’d have a warrant out for me. Don’t fall for it, just end the call straight away!

Total scam from HMRC claiming calls! Never, ever hit 1. These people are just disgusting con artists. The police really should be informed about these horrible scammers!

Got a call from this number saying there’s a warrant out for me over tax stuff. They told me to press 1 to speak to someone and I did. Then I got through to a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from HMRC, asking for my name to "check my details". I told her I’m not comfortable with random calls like this and asked for a callback number. She threatened to send the police if I didn’t cooperate, so I just said fine and hung up.

I got a ring from 0300 200 3904 earlier, and when I picked up, there was this recorded voice saying it was HMRC. The message said I was involved in some fraud investigation and told me to press 1 to talk to an officer. They warned if I didn't, they'd send out a warrant to get me arrested. I didn’t bother and just ended the call straight away.

Definitely a scam - I’ve never been involved in anything dodgy. I’m more than willing to cooperate with the police and HMRC if needed. Can’t say the same for whoever made that call though.

They’re the worst kind of scammers, trying to scare you into hitting number 1, which probably links you to a super pricey call.

They claimed to be HMRC, but I could hear them clearly and then he asked me some crazy question about putting his c### in my mouth or something, rubbish line if you ask me. I just ended the call.

Got a missed call from this number earlier. Tried calling back and got an automated voice saying no service on that number. Seems like it might be a fake caller ID or something dodgy. Be careful, sounds like a scam to me!

Got a voicemail from someone saying they were from HMRC, telling me or my "lawyer" to get in touch or there'd be consequences. Sounds dodgy to me.

Got a ring from this number telling me there’s a fraud case against me with HMRC and I have to press 1 or they’ll arrest me. Total scam, worst kind. HMRC would never jump straight to arrest without sending plenty of letters first. Don’t press anything, just hang up and ignore it.
