I just ignored the call straight away, no way HMRC is gonna ring about stuff like that. Total scam, blocked it instantly!

I've just grabbed my stuff and I'm off the radar now. Honestly, it was nice of them to call and give me a bit of a warning beforehand. I mean, loads of folks would totally fall for a call like that, and I get why it seems convincing.

No way was that HMRC calling me, not a chance!

Got a call from some sort of robot with an American accent, saying I owed taxes and would be arrested unless I hit 1. I blocked the number straight away.

Just got a call from some dodgy HRMC bot, totally feels like a scam. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the next thing ya hear is a loud bang on the door. It’s a proper shame though, ‘cause some poor sod will probably push "1" and end up completely screwed over!

Got a recorded call pretending to be from “HMRC” saying there’s some tax fraud case against me. They told me I'd be arrested if I didn’t hit ‘1’. Honestly, if they want to try, they can come and get me at my job, because I’m not buying any of this rubbish.

Got a call from this exact number and they said the same scary stuff others have reported here. Was really worried at first since I always pay my taxes straight from my wages. Glad I didn't hit 1, that could have been a nightmare!

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC and said there’s a warrant out for me - really scary stuff. Definitely want this number blocked.

Got a call from 03002003907 with a recorded voice pretending to be from HMRC. They claimed I had some tax I hadn’t paid and if I didn’t hit "1" right away, they’d send a warrant to have me arrested!!! I just ended the call and now I’m kinda waiting for the SWAT to turn up.

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying I'd be arrested if I didn’t press 1. Of course, I never pressed anything. I’ve now just blocked the number to be safe.

Supposedly from hrme, but the grammar was awful and the bit where they said press 1 just felt really dodgy.

It really caught me off guard, but luckily there are sites out there that alert you about this kinda thing. I naively saw the 0300 prefix and figured it was important, so I tried ringing back. Just as I started the call, I hung up because the message and music sounded really dodgy - especially as it was the first time anyone from that number contacted me. I looked it up and then got another call but stayed silent, and the caller quickly hung up. Honestly, just block these numbers immediately, they’re definitely not from HMRC.

Got a call from them again, saying the exact same thing. When they asked for my name and address, I told them there’s no way they’re really from HMRC if they don’t already know that info, then they just ended the call. Honestly, it feels like they’re going after elderly folks who might not realise it’s a scam. Proper nasty behaviour if you ask me.

This number rang me like 3 times in just 10 minutes. I’m pretty certain I don’t owe any tax, and even if I did, HMRC would’ve sent a letter before calling. Also, since when is the tax collector a Yank? I’ve blocked the number now. They’ll have to come round in person if they want to sort it out!

Had this dodgy automated call saying I owed tax and if I didn’t press 1 I’d get arrested. Like, HMRC have my address already, they know where I live. I’ll be around at 4pm, so if they fancy a visit, they’re more than welcome to try!
