I got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC but it was clearly a scammer from India. I decided to humour him for a bit and he actually seemed to know all my personal info - my full name, where I live, even my date of birth. When I started questioning him, he turned aggressive and just cut the call off. Really worried about how they got all that info.

I got a call from some call centre in India! These scammers seem to switch numbers all the time. I've blocked the lot and even reported it to action fraud.

For more than a year now, I've had to deal with these scam calls, and they keep switching up their numbers all the time. It’s annoying as heck. Honestly, just block them as soon as you get them! The caller claims to be an automated HMRC line or something like that.

Got a really disturbing call the other day from someone claiming to be HMRC, threatening to have me arrested. They tried getting me to hand over my personal info - definitely don’t share anything with them. Not sure exactly what scam they were running but it’s obviously dodgy. Make sure you tell your phone company about it.
