Got a call from an automated voice claiming to be from HMRC, saying if I didn’t press 1 they’d issue a warrant for my arrest. Honestly, HMRC doesn't get in touch like that, and they definitely wouldn’t ask for stuff like your bank details over the phone. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.

Got a call at about 2:02 pm, sounded just like the Tax Fraud scam others have mentioned here. Then, a couple hours later, the number 0300 200 3899 rang me again with the identical robotic message about Tax Fraud. Pretty annoying!

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, sounded like a typical scam to me. Watch out, folks, it's all fake!

Had the exact call mentioned before. I ended up hitting 1, and then the call just dropped. Later, I rang back that very number and got a recorded message from HMRC warning about scam calls, which was a relief. Even if these scammers use loads of different numbers, with the tech we've got today, surely they could track where these calls originate from? Seems like it shouldn’t be that hard for them to trace at all.
