Got a call on my mobile ending with 3034. Like the others said, I pressed 1 and then the call just dropped. Tried ringing back but the number doesn’t exist! Definitely a scam 😤😤

Got two calls from 0300 200 3033 and 0300 200 3034, both times they said to press 1 but then it went to an automated voice in a foreign language. Both messages claimed I’m linked to tax fraud. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

I’ve had calls from these numbers 0300 200 3836, 0300 200 3849, and 0300 200 3868 telling me to press option 1. I rang the HMRC Tax Free Childcare helpline and they said it’s probably a scam, so don’t press anything. HMRC wouldn’t use an automated message like that if they called you.

I received a call from a robotic bloke purporting to be from HMRC, insisting that I was flagged for fraud and that I needed to press 1 post-haste to dodge arrest. I couldn’t help but chuckle and ended up hanging up. It reminded me of Zaphod-"Are they really going to haul me off for a chat on the phone?" What a bunch of daft scammers!

SCAM! They say they are from HMRC and tell you to press 1 to listen about some fraud case and that you will be arrested straight away if you dont. Dont answer, just block the number.

I’ve had a few calls from them, maybe two or three, but just didn’t answer. There was a piece in the Daily Mail about this exact thing yesterday. Apparently, they run it from a little office over a shop in India and just use a laptop. They even pretend to be from HMRC by using their phone number! Sad to say, some folks have been scammed out of tens of thousands because of this.

Some muppets claiming to be from HMRC. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away. Been the 2nd or 3rd time I had to block similar numbers, they keep switching them to avoid getting caught and keep pestering people. They’re the reason some folks feel so low nowadays. Totally the same here! Picked up, heard them out, then they hung up and I blocked the number! I guess I'll just wait for the cops who probably won't show to arrest me! This call definitely looks dodgy and I reckon it's a scam or a premium rate number, definitely NOT any HMRC business.

Received a trio of calls today from the numbers 0300 2003847, 0300 200 3836, and 0300 200 3826. All of them appear to be spam. The initial call was particularly concerning, featuring a pre-recorded message purporting to be from HMRC, claiming I had an outstanding debt and urging me to press 1 or risk arrest. Quite the scam, wouldn’t you agree?
