Earlier today, I got a call from some bloke threatening me with court over supposed tax fraud unless I paid £800 straight away. They claimed they’d sent me warnings before, but I never agreed to get any of those. Honestly, they were really unpleasant and quite rude.

I came across a website ending in .gov.uk that claimed I needed to pay my taxes through it, but turns out it’s a scam. The number they mentioned was 03002003835, so watch out and don’t fall for it!

Got a really nasty phone call from some bloke claiming I was about to be jailed for breaking the law! He sounded really aggressive and gave me some ID UKRMM, said his name was Tom Morris. Then he passed me on to the "payment department". I lost it with the woman, the way they talked to me was shocking - so pushy and rude! I refused to pay anything and then she started shouting at me! Less than a month ago, I had a proper chat with HMRC about my tax codes and updated my account online, and I barely owe anything. These scammers were asking for £497! This number definitely needs to be flagged and reported!

i got a call from this guy claiming to be steve clarke, a senior auditor at hmrc, telling me to pay up straight away. he stayed on the line and wanted me to pay with a google or amazon card, saying bad stuff would happen if i didnt. no real reason was given at all. before that, i had a recorded voicemail from 01970709813, which seemed like a proper tax scam.

Got a call earlier today from some guy saying there was a warrant out for my arrest. He told me to just turn myself in at the police station. Apparently, I’m meant to owe some tax money and they supposedly sent me a letter, but it got returned to them or something. Totally fishy if you ask me.
