Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, sounded like a woman with a heavy Indian accent. She said if I didn’t press 1 to connect, I’d be arrested for fraud within 24 hours! Definitely a scam, best to just ignore and not pick up!

Some bloke called me claiming to be from HMRC, said I had an arrest warrant out for me. Total scam! It can really frighten people, especially old folks. Just a heads up, the call seemed to come from Glasgow, Scotland. Stay safe everyone!

Got a call saying there’s some sort of warrant because I haven’t sorted my taxes with HMRC. They told me to press one to talk to someone, then instantly started asking for my bank info and where I live. Proper scam, don’t fall for it!
