They mostly ring my landline, and I’m still waiting for HMRC to come after me for tax fraud or something. This isn’t the first time I’ve got one of these calls - honestly, I’ve had loads of scam calls this year already. It’s really annoying, wish there was some proper way to block these scammy people.

Got a voicemail saying it was from HMRC, claiming there was some tax fraud on my account and to press 1 to be put through. I ignored it and didn’t press anything.

somebody rang me up saying they're from the hmrc fraud dept, saying I was in trouble. I asked them to send me the paperwork for the case but they just said a warrant will be issued by the federal court if I ignore it. I told them to get lost and to go ahead with it then.

Got a message claiming it was HMRC saying I’m involved in a criminal fraud case and I had to press 1 or face arrest soon. Didn’t bother pressing anything and just hung up straight away. Later called HMRC from another phone and they told me it’s a scam trying to trick people with financial fraud.

Someone rang me pretending to be from HMRC, saying there was a fraud case against me. They told me to press one to speak to them. Then they warned if the call dropped, they'd send the police to arrest me soon. Quite scary!
