Just a heads up, there's a scam going around where you get a automated call claiming HMRC is taking legal action against you. They ask you to press one to talk to someone who can help with payment. Don’t fall for it - HMRC has confirmed it’s a scam, so best to hang up straight away.

Twice I got a call, once on 10th March 2019 and again on 12th March 2019. An automated voice warned me about some tax fraud linked to me and told me to press #1 to avoid arrest. I knew straight away it was a scam and didn’t respond. I blocked the first phone number, but now they're ringing me from the number mentioned in this thread. The call on 10th March was from 0300 200 3699. Thought sharing this might help put an end to these calls - caller said they were from HRMC.

I’ve already blocked both and reported the lot to HMRC, especially after getting a dodgy email a couple of days back.
