One of the funniest calls I've ever got from some bloke claiming to be 'HMRC' hahaha. They kept going on about tax evasion and said it was such a huge sum I could be nicked soon. Someone rang me pretending to be from HMRC, accusing me of tax fraud and saying I’d sent back two letters they’d supposedly sent out. I told them I never received anything. They warned me my bank accounts would be frozen and my belongings seized, and even threatened court action if I didn’t confess.
