Got a call from 0300 200 3503, they said they was HMRC and an automated voice claimed I had a tax fraud case against me. They told me to press 1 to sort the tax or they'd take legal action. Sounded dodgy to me!

Got a robocall earlier claiming to be HMRC, warning me I'd be arrested for tax evasion if I didn't hit 1. It’s awful to think about how someone more vulnerable might react to this. I’m definitely passing this on to the proper folks. The number was 03002003520.

Yesterday around midday this number rang me, but since I was in the middle of a meeting and didn’t recognise it, I just ignored it. Good thing too. I don’t mind dealing with the muppets who try to scam you by saying you’ve been in a crash - at least you can mess about with them without revealing anything. But this one sounded like a pre-recorded message, so there’s no chance of having a bit of fun with it.

Just had a call from someone pretending to be the tax office, threatening me with arrest over some supposed tax fraud. Total scam! 30

It seems that this number belongs to 'HMRC', and there’s been some dodgy activity linked to my name, which supposedly has led to an arrest warrant-unless I pressed 1 to hear more. Good luck catching me! 😂✌️ What a bunch of scammers!

Got a call from someone claiming to be the tax office, telling me to hit 1 on my phone. Then they went on saying if I didn’t press 1 right away, I'd end up getting arrested for tax fraud. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

Received a rather alarming call purporting to be from HMRC. An individual by the name of Lewis Harrington claimed I had an outstanding tax debt of £1927. He warned that failure to settle this amount would result in court proceedings, potentially leaving me liable for a staggering £29,000. Quite the scare, I must say!

I've received yet another call with a pre-recorded voice claiming to be from HMRC, alleging some sort of fraudulent activity linked to my name. Honestly, it feels like an endless stream of scams!

I received a call claiming to be from HMRC, and the chap on the line started blathering about some fraudulent activity allegedly linked to my name. He instructed me to press one, warning that failure to comply would result in a warrant for my arrest. He even hinted that the police could be at my door any second. Well, here I am, still enjoying my tea in peace while waiting for the coppers to show up! 😂😂👍 I realise it’s not the sort of thing to chuckle about, and I can see how it might unsettle some folk, but at 70 years young, I'm still sharp as a tack!

A mysterious number rang my mobile, and I haven't a clue how they acquired my digits! Since I didn't recognise the caller, I opted not to pick up. Thankfully, I took a moment to look it up on Google, and I’m really grateful for this website that allows us to investigate these unfamiliar numbers!

I received a rather peculiar automated call that ominously instructed me to press 1, threatening a warrant for my arrest if I failed to comply. Initially, I found the whole affair quite amusing and couldn’t help but chuckle to myself. It did prompt me to do a quick search on Google, just to verify what was going on. As it turns out, I wasn't alone in this bizarre situation. It's quite a relief, really, especially for those who might have been caught off guard with their financial affairs. It’s shocking to see such unscrupulous individuals attempting to pull off scams like this-one has to wonder if they ought to be the ones facing legal consequences instead!

Received a rather dubious phone call earlier today, featuring that robotic voice we've all come to know. It regurgitated the same details mentioned previously. If it were legitimate, they surely would have sent a proper letter in the post. Just another scam attempt, I reckon.

Today, 27th February 2019, at around 2:15 pm, I got a call from 03002003503, but I didn’t pick up. When I looked up the number, it showed up as HMRC National Insurance. I tried ringing it back from a burner phone and got a recorded message saying the number isn’t valid anymore and to call 03002003500 instead. Seems like this number might have been taken over by scammers. Caller unknown.

Got a voicemail on my mobile from someone rambling about “HMRC” and then threatening me pretty clearly: “If you don’t call back, you’ll have a warrant out and get arrested soon.” I’m in my sixties and know the police wouldn’t do things like this, especially not leaving threats on phone messages. I’m certain it’s a scam. I looked up the number here on this site and I’m about to contact the police on their non-emergency line to report this kind of harassment. I’d tell anyone else who gets a call like this NOT to answer or call back. Just report it to the authorities and maybe leave a comment on this site too. The number was +44 300 200 3503.
