This number won't stop calling me, loads of missed calls all the time. Ive blocked them but they still somehow send texts saying I have a warrant for my arrest over tax fraud, and the message comes in some weird robotic American voice? Proper annoying!

Scammers keep harassing me!! HMRC don’t leave voicemails, they always send official letters here in the UK. Just blocked and ignored their calls. They’re not really trying to arrest anyone. I’ve had this same call a few times now.

At 9:09 in the morning, way too early and it woke me up, for goodness sake. It was a recorded call - a woman spoke really slowly and clearly claiming to be from HMRC. Sounded a bit American to me? I got fed up with the message and just hung up. Total scam, scam, scam. HMRC never sends automated calls like that in the UK, they only ever send letters.

Hello, I'm Kat. Just wanted to share my experience-I've received a couple of these automated calls recently, both from an American woman, claiming I'm under some sort of investigation for tax fraud. She urged me to call back and discuss it. It’s been quite unsettling, especially as I’ve been dealing with depression. You can only imagine how distressing this kind of thing is for me, particularly since I haven’t been employed in a decade. I truly hope this nonsense comes to an end soon. Cheers.
