Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up, and honestly, feeling lucky after reading what others said - sounds like one of those annoying scam calls! Definitely putting it on the block!

Got a call a moment ago where they wanted my name and where I live. Really, don't go pressing 1!

Got a call from 0300 200 3332 with an American guy claiming there's some case against me and that I'll be arrested soon. I'm definitely not involved in anything dodgy, just a checkout worker at my local shop!

Got a call just after 9 this morning. They told me there was a dodgy tax claim in my name and if I didn’t hit 1, they'd apparently send the police round to arrest me. Funny how someone already called the tax office before me!

I got a call from some auto-recorded American voice saying I had a fake case with HMRC, and if I don’t press one, I’ll be locked up. Total scam, obviously.

Got a call earlier from some automated bloke warning me about a tax fraud issue and telling me to press 1. I didn’t bother pressing anything and just ended the call. Would recommend you hang up straight away too.

When I heard the American accent right away, I felt a bit suspicious. I pressed one to keep the call going, but the woman on the line seemed puzzled and kinda suggested that I’d dialled her. I asked who she believed she was talking to, and she told me the name of the old owner of my number - the same person who must’ve gotten heaps of scam calls and texts. That just made me chuckle, so I hung up and blocked that number straight away.

Today at work I got a call from 03002003326 and it totally threw me off. Some bloke kept threatening I'd get arrested or something. I tried to find out what he was on about but then I started thinking it sounded dodgy and he just hung up on me. Felt daft for even bothering to chat. I usually don’t pick up unknown numbers but for some reason I did, and I pressed 1 when asked but never gave any bank info. Do you reckon I’m alright?

Total scam, don’t fall for it! HMRC wouldn't ring you up like that. They always get in touch via their official gov.uk website with loads of security checks. Just hang up straight away!

Someone was really rude to my daughter, saying they’d “do her in”. I just told them to get lost. Honestly, what’s happening to people these days?

I received a rather alarming phone call earlier, purportedly from the Fraud Division of HMRC. The individual on the line claimed that an arrest warrant had been issued in my name and that I was facing imminent arrest-within the hour, no less! He insisted that I needed to cough up £2,900 immediately, or else the amount would skyrocket to £97,100, and I could be looking at a 5 to 7-year stint behind bars. I find myself sincerely hoping this is merely a hoax, as the whole situation is incredibly distressing and quite frankly, frightening!

Got a call from this number 03002003326, and the guy spoke with an American accent saying there's some kind of fraud case linked to me. He told me to hit 1 to talk to someone, but just as I was about to, the line went dead. Really suspicious.

Had this strange automated call from an American-sounding bloke telling me there’s been fraud on my name and I must press 1. They said if I don’t press it or the call drops, I’d get arrested. Total nonsense! I rang HMRC straight away to let them know about it. Honestly, everyone should do the same so they realise this scam isn’t just a one-off and they can hunt down these dodgy scammers.

Got a call from someone claiming I was involved in tax fraud, which was totally nonsense. When I started asking questions, they got really rude and began swearing at me, clearly because they got caught out. They even threatened to get me into trouble, but honestly, I'd like to see them try. Didn’t realise HMRC was so fierce, haha!

Got a call from some robo voice with an American accent claiming to be from HMRC saying there’s a fraud case against me. They warned if I didn’t press a specific number, the police would be on their way to arrest me. What a load of rubbish! Seriously, don’t fall for this scam. I just ended the call right away because I know HMRC would never ring about something so serious using an automated US voice.

Just like the one mentioned earlier - total nonsense. I guess some folks must actually believe it, otherwise they wouldn’t keep doing it! If I had the time, I’d definitely report it, but sadly I don’t!
