WHEN WILL THESE IDIOTS BE STOPPED? We rely on our phones for way more important stuff than dealing with nonstop rubbish calls from these MORONS. Phone companies NEED to take real action, they know exactly who’s behind it and it’s their duty to protect us users. SORT IT OUT ALREADY!

Someone rang me on my phone a couple of times when I was on the road, so I ignored it. They never bothered to leave a voicemail. How do these folks manage to have an 0300 number with zero clear online or payment info that could lead to them getting caught quickly??? Doesn't anyone check into this stuff anymore? BT, cops, Ofcom - where are you all?

Got a call from this number pretending to be HMRC. They told me to press 1 or I’d be arrested soon. I didn’t press anything and just ended the call. Tried ringing back later, but it went straight to voicemail - no connection to any real service! Definitely a scam, best not to pick up or ring them back.

I didn’t pick up the call, and honestly, I’m happy I didn’t after seeing these comments. If someone had told me they were from HMRC, I’d have just laughed it off since it’s Saturday and HMRC closes at 3pm on Fridays and doesn’t open until 9am on Monday.

Got a voicemail earlier, total scam alert. HMRC definitely wouldn’t handle things like that, plus the police don’t just “arrest you shortly” without going through the right procedures. Anyone with a bit of sense would know that!

Had a call from someone claiming to be HMRC. I hit 1 to respond. Some bloke with an Indian accent, calling himself Sam Parker, came on the line. He was full of it, even knew my name. Then he asked for my address and I told him, "No mate, you’re the one who called me." He wasn’t happy, said “Alright then, see you in court,” and hung up. Definitely a total scam. The number was 03002003177.
