I picked up the phone and this robotic voice claimed to be from HMRC, saying there was some fraud case linked to me. Definitely steer clear of this one!

It’s like these 0300 numbers keep popping up more and more. Surely there's a way to stop this, right???

Got a call from 03002003174 claiming to be HMRC about my tax, left me waiting for some auto dial thing. They were making threats about arrest, honestly seems like a new kind of harassment that phone and network providers just let slide. For years these scammers have been able to take advantage of ordinary folks who don’t deserve it. I reckon there needs to be a legal system where we get compensated every time we get these dodgy calls. That might finally push them to crack down on all the fraud.

Got a voicemail from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying I’m about to be arrested if I don’t respond. HMRC wouldn’t ever get in touch like that, so it’s obviously a fraud. Don’t pick up or call back - just block it straight away!

Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent saying I had to give my info or I’d be breaking the law and get arrested 😳 like seriously? Don’t fall for it, never give out your bank details or any personal stuff. It’s definitely just another call centre scam from India #ScamAlert

This number rang me but no message was left. A while back, I got a call like this from another number, seemed like the same kind of scam. Best to just not bother answering.

Got a voicemail saying HMRC had apparently put a warrant out for me. It said to press '1' to talk to the officer handling my case or I'd get arrested. Obviously a load of rubbish, so I just ended the call and blocked the number.

I’ve been getting calls from this number quite a bit, but whenever I answer, it just goes to some kind of automated voicemail. Feels like they’re trying something different now. It's pretty clear they are targeting older folks, hoping to scare them with that strange message tone. Seems like a dodgy trick to catch people who might not be so tech-savvy.

Just got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC about taxes, total scam! I wouldn’t bother calling them back or even talking to them. Hang up straight away and block the number. These scammers really need to find a proper job instead of trying to trick folks out of their money.

I got a voicemail saying if I didn’t get back to them, I’d have a warrant out for my arrest! Obviously, I’ve blocked the number now.

This has all the signs of a scam. HMRC never ring up out of the blue like that without warning. They’d send you an official message first if there were any serious issues about tax fraud - no way they’d just call and say you’re being arrested! Seems dodgy to me.

Scam warning! Got a call saying it was the tax department accusing me of some tax fraud and threatening to send bailiffs round if I didn’t press a button. Total rubbish! Don’t even bother returning the call - they’re just scammers trying to fool you. Stay safe and ignore them!

They said they were from HMRC, but since HMRC don’t have my mobile number, I figured straight away it must be a scam. The recorded message started by stating who they were and then went on about some tax fraud thing. Definitely dodgy if you ask me.
