I just got a voicemail telling me there’s a tax fraud complaint filed against me and if I don’t press ‘1’ to talk to someone sorting it out, I’m going to be arrested soon! Proper scary stuff! Obviously, I didn’t press anything. No clue what nonsense they might’ve tried to pin on me!

Like the others, I got this automated call telling me there's a tax fraud thing linked to me. It said to hit q if I wanted to talk to someone about my case. If I didn’t, it claimed a warrant was out and they were gonna arrest me soon. Total load of rubbish.

So I got a dodgy call and ended up pressing 1, but apparently the phone company can check later if any money’s been taken. Don’t really get what their game is with all that fuss.

Got a call from 03002003179 with an automated voice saying I needed to press 1 or else they’d send a warrant for my arrest. Definitely one of those HMRC scams going about, kinda like the scam they've been running in the States for a while now. The caller was listed as Unknown.

I got the same call a little while ago. I didn’t manage to hit ¹ quick enough, so it just dropped. When I rang them back, the message said something like "No services available on this number". The caller ID was 0300 200 3177. Quite strange really.
