These people selling home appliance insurance just wont leave me alone. I get calls from loads of similar numbers every single day. Even though I've told them I'm ex-directory and on the TPS list, they keep ringing multiple times a day. Sometimes I get back home and find like 4 or 5 voicemails from them all saying they'll try again the next day. When they ring on weekends, I ask them nicely to stop, but the calls dont stop coming. Proper annoying!

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be Mason Drinkwater from Domestic Insurance, saying they worked with Domestic and General Insurance. So, I just found out I’m somehow signed up with two separate firms for a made-up home appliance breakdown policy. Got my fourth call from some dodgy lot who couldn’t even keep straight which company they were claiming to be from. The worst part? When I told the aggressive caller I was fine to continue paying the regular price even if it went up, they started getting nasty and said they’d cancel my direct debit. Makes zero sense financially, honestly!

Someone called saying they were from Domestic & General, telling me I was owed £119 back for overpaying on a washing machine insurance policy. They insisted I provide my card details again because apparently they didn't keep any records from when I supposedly took out the policy. I immediately knew it was a con since I've never had that insurance. When I called them out on it, they got really rude and just ended the call. Honestly, these scammers should be put behind bars. I asked where he was ringing from and he said Brighton. Then I pointed out the number had a Cardiff area code, which seemed to throw him off. Spent about 10 minutes chatting just to waste his time, and in the end, he said he was hanging up. Definitely a nuisance call, and I’m pretty sure it was a scam.
