I received a couple of missed calls from this number and have decided to block it. I sent a text informing them that I'll be reporting their number to the police as a nuisance caller and that they’ve been blocked.

The caller wanted to know if I was (my name). I quickly told them, "oh, you're one of those annoying cold callers, huh?" They replied that cold calling is actually marketing and claimed it was about some legal issue involving me. I lost my temper, swearing at them and telling them they had absolutely no right to ring me up, how dare they bother me like this. I made it clear to never call again before slamming the phone down and blocking the number.

Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent claiming I'd been in a car crash. I made up some ridiculous story about a made-up accident. After a bit, they started to catch on and ended the call when I told them I was totally smashed on booze and crack cocaine. Not exactly the reaction I was hoping for!

The person called asking for me by my first name, so I asked who was on the line. He immediately started going on about some sort of insurance payout related to a 'motor craft' accident. I got upset and told him, “Please don’t phone here again, my daughter passed away in that crash and this phone is the only thing I have from her.” He said sorry and quickly ended the call, claiming he would take her number off their list - but I doubt that’s true, so I’ve blocked the number and will block any similar ones too!
