Had a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, but something felt off. They said I'd have to call a number they gave, but HMRC themselves told me they usually send letters and won’t call you out of the blue unless you've set up a call in advance. So watch out and don’t ring that number they give! Stay safe, folks.

I got a call from this dodgy number where the person claimed to be from HMRC, threatening to have me arrested. Seems like these people just pretend to be all kinds of official organisations. Proper risky number, would stay clear!

I got in touch with BT about this and it turns out it's a proper scam. Definitely best to block that number and avoid calling it back.

got a message in a really scary tone, saying I had to ring him right away. He said if me or my lawyers didn’t get in touch fast, there’d be serious trouble. Proper worrying stuff.

Received a voicemail from 0208008762 warning me to call them back right away or face some kind of trouble. Felt like a pretty clear threat if I didn’t respond quickly. Quite worrying stuff!
