They claim they're with Carphone Warehouse. This is actually the third phone number they've phoned me from, trying to get me to buy stuff.

they honestly sounded like they were outside or something. if you’re gonna try scamming someone, the least you could do is sound like you’re actually in an office or something proper. i’ve seen others point out it’s a scam too. when i told them i wasn’t interested and waiting for another call, they just kept going with their spiel like i never said anything - honestly, pretty rude as well.

They keep calling every single day, but never leave a proper message. All you hear is some heavy breathing before the call suddenly ends. It's pretty weird.

Just wanted to warn everyone about this number 03308084575. A mate of mine got on the phone with them and ended up handing over some cash thinking it was for a loan. But it’s been ages and the money never turned up. Total scam, watch out!

Pretty annoying bloke with an Indian accent kept hassling me about fake loan offers. I told him I wasn’t interested and hung up twice, but he kept calling back, even asking if I’d got anything from my "girlfriend" the night before. Like, seriously? My wife would be right annoyed if that were the case. This guy’s just a silly fellow thinking he’s being smart, but honestly, he’s not worth the time. Best just to steer clear of this number, absolutely no point in dealing with it.

They said they were from a loan company. First, I got a text telling me it’s crucial that customers are able to see the actual rate before applying, something about "what you see is what you get" with the rates. Then they tried to sell unsecured loans but wanted an upfront payment, calling it an insurance fee or something like that. Sounds dodgy to me.

I use an answerphone to screen my calls most of the time. I only bother picking up if I recognise the voice or it sounds like someone genuine, like a mate I actually want to chat to.

If someone rings but doesn't leave any message, it always sets off alarm bells for me. I mostly figure they're either trying to scam me or push some product I really don't want.

They keep ringing my partner's mum, but every time she answers, they just hang up and then ring again. When I try to call them back, it just cuts off with no one picking up. Really wish someone would block these annoying calls!
