Got a call earlier today from this same number claiming to be HMRC. They said there was a legal case against me and that I had to ring them straight away or I’d face big trouble. The caller said her name was Jennifer Coleman and that she worked for HMRC. Obviously I didn’t ring them back! Watch out for these dodgy scams!

They told me there’s going to be an arrest warrant unless I ring HMRC on a certain number, but they said it so quickly I couldn’t jot it down properly!

Got a ring from Egypt, number starting with +20. Picked up but there was dead silence on the other end. Also noticed a few calls from 023 9216 1189, which I believe is connected to some HMRC scam. Usually I don’t get loads of scam calls, but recently had about three, two of them just this week, all about HMRC. Very suspicious!

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, just like others have mentioned here. Felt really iffy about it straight away, sounded dodgy. Didn’t give them any details and just hung up. Wish people would stop trying these scams, it’s so annoying!

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying I needed to ring them straight away about an unpaid tax return. Total scam, they’re just trying to trick you!

Got a robo call saying there's a warrant out for my arrest from HMRC about my tax return and I needed to phone them straight away on the same number. They warned if I didn’t ring back the warrant would be “put into action”. Obviously, I ignored it and intend to report this dodgy number to HMRC!
