Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my computer was hacked. Told him I don’t own a computer and then he called me a beggar. Asked to talk to his manager, eventually he came on the line just to say “have a nice day” and then hung up. Definitely a scam.

Loads of people ringing up saying you’ve been in a car crash. Just so you know - this ain’t some sales pitch or marketing (and it would be against the rules anyway as I’m signed up with TPS). This is a straight up SCAM and I can’t get why TPS, who I’ve told about it, hasn’t passed it on to the coppers. Best thing you can do - PUT THE PHONE DOWN RIGHT AWAY and don’t say a word.

Got a call at 4.15pm. It rang once, then a lady picked up and said she was from Pearl Health Alliance or somethin. She said they wanted to discuss a car accident I was in but wasn’t my fault. Thing is, I’ve never been in any accident. Then she mentioned someone had scratched my car and it wasn’t my fault. I told them to take my number off their list and I’ve blocked the number now.
