Somebody called Tanya Baratta on Facebook claimed she was with a company helping people find jobs abroad. She kept talking about giving me a COS and a skilled worker visa for over £1400, but luckily we saw through the whole thing and didn’t get caught up in it.

This number kept ringing me all last week, telling me I’d won the Euromillions and could pick my own lucky numbers. I just ended the call straight away.

I put this number on my block list ages ago, yet I’m still getting texts telling me I missed their call (how annoying). Since blocking, it’s rung my phone about four times or more! How do these people even keep managing to get through after being blocked?

This time it was some lottery con, claiming I won fake Euromillions tickets. When I said I wasn’t keen on handing over my info, he got quite annoyed and kept pushing me really hard to go along with it.

Got two missed calls from this number, luckily I've got scam block and scam app on my phone. Honestly, it’s well worth having to save yourself from wasting time on fake calls.

This number rang me up saying I’d been in some kind of accident. The caller said there’s two kinds of insurance - one for your car and this other one, supposedly personal insurance, that they claimed was for me as an individual. They went on asking my age and personal info, but I told them I’m under 18. Then they pressed for my DOB, which felt a bit dodgy. I just hung up after that cos it seemed like talking to some bloke spouting nonsense. Waste of time really!

Some woman called me, said her name was Kim, told me I’d won something to do with pampers. I gave her all my info, like my name, address, birthday, email and number. Then she started going on about free lottery tickets in some euro millions group I’d supposedly won in. I just told her no cheers and she ended the call. Still waiting on that prize though! 😂

Just got a call from 020 4525 8119 about winning a lottery tied to some competition my partner entered with Pampers for our little girl. It’s totally a scam and nothing legit. Don’t fall for it, stay clear!

Was out doing some shopping and usually I check the number first before picking up, but this time I answered straight away. Whoever it was, they definitely chose the wrong person to mess with. I told them off and blocked their number right after. It’s so frustrating how these people get hold of phone numbers in the first place. No clue how mine ended up with them, but then again, that’s just what scammers do.

I got a call about winning free tickets for the National Lottery, but it felt off. They quickly tried to get me to agree to a £39 payment from my bank while recording the whole thing. As soon as I said I didn’t consent, they just hung up on me. Total scam, be careful!

I got a call saying I’d won some kind of competition for a Dyson hairdryer, then they asked me for my bank details to get a lottery ticket. I told them I wasn’t happy giving out my bank info, then they went off on one about how it couldn’t be a scam since they only wanted my account number and sort code. I told them I’d mull it over and ring back, but then I just blocked their number straight away.

Phone call came in and when I asked who's calling they just hung up without saying a thing. Got quite rude after I didn't confirm who they claimed to be, so I just blocked the number straight away.

So I saw this Pet at Home competition on Facebook, saying you could win a £500 voucher. They got my phone number, then rang me up asking for a number to enter the draw. Soon after, they wanted my bank info, which I wasn’t about to give. When I said no, they started shouting at me on the phone! Totally unprofessional.

They told me it was some kind of Gillette charging razor I've never came across in any shop before. If it's a new product they're trying to push in stores, then yeah, it feels like a proper scam to me.

They kept ringing me up, about four times, saying I had won some sort of prize. I played along for a bit, but when they started nagging for my bank info, I got suspicious and just stopped. Glad I wasn’t daft enough to give it to them!

Got a call saying I’d somehow won a Dior competition, even though I never joined anything like that. They talked about a £39 subscription for some lottery thing. If I hadn’t been suspicious, I guess they’d have tried to get my bank details and sort code. What was creepy is they appeared to know quite a bit about me already. Also, when I asked to speak with a manager, they flat out refused.

Watch out, this is a complete ripoff! They kept ringing me loads of times every day and when I finally picked up, they said I’d won a lottery. Then they asked for my full name, sort code and bank account number to “verify” who I am. Definitely not legit.

the person on the phone spoke with a thick foreign accent, I think it might have been Indian. there was background noise like a busy call centre. she mentioned my name and claimed it was about a prize from some online contest I supposedly joined. This person on the phone sounded like they had a thick foreign accent, maybe Indian or somewhere nearby. There was a lot of background noise that reminded me of a call centre. She mentioned my name and said it was about some competition I supposedly signed up for on the internet. I told her I never take part in those online competitions and just ended the call right there!
