Some bloke called himself Michael Ramsey, but his accent was totally off for that name. He claimed I'd won a contest and somehow had all my details - name, email, birthday - then rang me on my mobile. Said I was a lucky winner and could get anything from £1000 up to a million pounds, and they'd just put it straight into my bank. He kept pushing, even gave me a customer service number to check on (0203 936 9681), which I reckon was just his mate on the other end. I've gone ahead and blocked all those numbers now.

Somebody called me with a strong Indian accent and already had my full name and email, so I'm guessing they got it from some dodgy site I might've signed up to. They started talking about the EuroMillions and claimed I'd won, which made no sense since I never played. They had me pick 5 lucky numbers, then another 2 digits between 1 and 12, but I don't even know what those were for. Next thing, they asked for my bank details and wanted the first six digits of my card. I didn’t like the sound of that and just ended the call straight away.
