Just received a quite strange voicemail from these lot. My phone's spam blocker stopped the call and sent it straight to my voicemail. They ended up leaving a message that went on for about 4 minutes, in some foreign language with loads of background noise like a busy call centre. Then it switched to really poor English with loads of swear words I can’t repeat, talking about how many people had signed up that day. Seems like they clocked it was voicemail and ended the call abruptly after another rude word. Proper nonsense!

Apparently, I’ve been informed that I’ve won a prize in a draw for complimentary lottery tickets after entering a competition. They had all my personal details such as my address, telephone number, and date of birth. They requested my email to send the relevant information and, rather foolishly, I disclosed which bank I use. I picked up the phone just one time when some bloke was asking for my partner, though she lives like 40 miles away. After I bought her a Dior perfume at Christmas, which I did as a gift, I got emails now and then offering free samples - seems typical for Dior. I handed over my number, but honestly, they’re getting way too nosy with all their calls. Strangely, I can’t manage to block the number on my phone, and now I get two calls every weekday near teatime. One just rings and the other lasts maybe 5 seconds max.
