I got a phone call on 15/5/2022 at 12:53 from the number 02045204441. It was the same automated message that others have mentioned. The caller claimed to be from a bank but didn't say which one. They told me there were two suspicious charges on my card - one of £300 allegedly from Amazon and another for £1100 said to be an international transfer. The message asked me to press one to cancel the payments or two to talk to someone. I didn’t press any buttons at all.

I followed the advice and reported it straight away. It didn’t take long at all - pretty quick response. I’m definitely going to keep reporting these dodgy calls. Not sure if I’ll bother contacting my MP yet, still mulling it over. There really needs to be a way to put a stop to these scammers.
