Got a call from some guy named Michael, sounded like he was from o2, trying to sell me the latest iPhone deal. Told him straight away I’m not interested and I’m not even an o2 customer, can he please take me off the list. He lost his temper and started raising his voice, which was really weird. I ended up cutting the call off right then and there and blocked the number. A real customer service person wouldn’t be shouting down the phone like that for sure.

I made clear I wasn’t interested, but he insisted on sending me two texts with some info, which I told him not to do. Pretty sure it was some sort of scam.

Yesterday, while I was on my way to my mate's place, my phone suddenly buzzed with a call from the number 02036951704. I picked up, but there was this strange bloke speaking - I couldn't make out what he was saying at all, so I ended up ending the call pretty quickly. When I picked up, there was a pause that went on for about 10 seconds before a voice with a strong Indian accent started saying I needed to switch my mobile provider and then asked for my bank info. At first, I believed he said he was ringing from a car close to where I live, but after seeing what others wrote, it looks like he meant Carphone Warehouse. When I told him I couldn’t follow him, he just ended the call straight away. Pretty obvious scam, if you ask me.
