Some bloke saying he was Ayan or Joseph from Carphone Warehouse rang me about a phone deal. I got sent a phone and sim that I never signed up for. Looks like a scam to me - they set up a contract with a different mobile provider using my details. I sent the phone back, but it’s all dodgy. Totally a SCAM. Don’t fall for it!

Whenever the phone rings, just keep quiet when you pick up. If someone's actually there, they'll say hello first. This call was clearly dodgy because they stayed silent unless I talked, which shows its some kind of automated scam trying to get you to speak first. After a bit of silence, they just cut the call without saying anything.

I got a quick tune played on the line, then this person with a pretty strong Indian accent asked for a decision-maker. There was a bit of a lag, so I reckon they weren’t calling from here in the UK.
