I just got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from Curo. He told me their HR team supposedly keeps records on every person in the UK. When I asked how that could be right and asked them to delete my info, he got all defensive and said I’d insulted him and his company. Apparently, they won’t take my details off their system unless we have a face-to-face chat. Weird and a bit intimidating, to be honest.

Got a call just before 9 in the morning from a guy with an Asian accent who said his name was Daniel. He somehow knew my name and started talking about a mortgage I took out ages ago. When I asked how they found my info, he claimed it was from their HR department. I then made a clicking noise and told him I was recording the call, and that was the end of that chat!

On the morning of Saturday 24th October 2015, around 9:17am, my brother got a phone call enquiring about our mum who unfortunately passed away in 2009. They actually gave the right name which was a bit unsettling! The caller claimed to be from some Private Medical firm. As soon as my brother told them she was no longer with us, they asked for his name and just hung up right after. Quite an odd experience really!

This morning at precisely eight, I received a rather intrusive call. I immediately responded with, "I don't partake in surveys or lifestyle inquiries." The chap on the other end, who had an Indian accent, tried to convince me he was from Nationwide Bank and inquired if my address was up to date. I curtly informed him that it was none of his concern! To my astonishment, he resorted to foul language, remarking, "Now listen here, you absolute cow!" Despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I still receive a barrage of international calls - about ten a day! If anyone has any tips on how to put a stop to this incessant nuisance, I would greatly appreciate it!

At about 8.15 in the morning, I got a call from this number, and some bloke with a really sharp tone wanted to speak to me by my name, and then straight away asked for my postcode. I told him, also quite bluntly, who exactly he was to be asking personal stuff like that. Without a word back, he just hung up. Honestly, I’m getting really fed up with all these random calls from strangers, especially at rude hours like that.

This morning at precisely 10:38, I received yet another call from this number. I began expressing to the young lady on the line that she needed to cease her chatter and actually listen for a moment. I made it quite clear that we do not possess a mortgage, nor do we owe any outstanding funds, and we certainly have no PPI claims pending in our name. A bloke with a pretty thick accent called up, and it was tough to catch what he said. He rattled off my elderly mum's full name and address, all serious-like, and then asked if they were right. I asked who exactly was calling, and he said he was from Robert Walker solicitors. I told him I wasn't interested, mentioned we’re on the TPS list, and as I was about to tell him to stop calling, he just cut me off. If my mum had picked up, she’d have been terrified.
