I told him that wasnt true and ended the call. then a few nights later, he called again, I said yeah sure, me and my conjoined twin were driving a rental in France, had a terrible smash and got split up, I really miss him. he asked me to wait, i did - he clearly had no idea what a conjoined twin even means. when he got back, he was proper annoyed and said I was wasting his time and if I was having a laugh, I told him welcome to the club and told him to get lost and find a proper job. haven't heard from them since.

I’ve stopped answering my phone altogether. This has been happening for about 4 years now. I just let the answering machine take all the calls. Some days, from around 8 in the morning until 10 at night, I’d get about a dozen calls. Since I work from home, I can easily tell how many times my phone rings. Every time I mention I've got Windows, they just switch to some other excuse or product. It’s really annoying! When I got a bit annoyed, they called straight back saying our STC results were ready. Proper pest, this number.

Looks like this number is quite common or something. I've had loads of calls from it as well. Just earlier today, a guy called "Leon" rang me up, said he was from some media company and mentioned he was nearby. He even knew my name, which was a bit creepy. I went ahead and reported it to the TPS.

I’m fed up with these idiots, getting calls from morons like this every single day. I’m signed up with TPS but it makes no difference. If they can’t get through on my landline, they just start ringing my mobile instead. I’ve made up my mind to get rid of the landline and only use my mobile from now on. Even though I use BT Call Minder, I still have a look back at the numbers it stops. Just last week, this particular number tried ringing me 13 times, and each call got blocked!

So I was checking online to see if this Dundee hotel had any rooms and next thing, I get a call almost straight away. I didn’t realise that just by asking online, they could see your phone number. Bet a lot of folks have no clue about that!

Since around mid May, this number keeps ringing my elderly parents (80 and 83). They are registered on TPS but the calls still come through. When I called them back, the phone just rang for a second then ended the call. So frustrating!

This number keeps ringing my phone loads of times a day. They call, let it ring once or twice, then just hang up. The moment the answerphone kicks in, they drop the call. It’s proper annoying and feels like they’re just wasting people’s time. It’s been happening for weeks now, and honestly, phone companies ought to have a way to block these calls since we pay for that service. If they won’t sort it, the government should really get involved and put a stop to it.

I'm registered with the TPS so I don't get why this caller is still able to get through. I’ve stopped picking up calls from unknown numbers altogether. With my bad knees from osteoarthritis, I just can’t be botherd gettin up to check who’s calling.
