I only just realised today, the 11th of June, that I had a missed call from this number dated the 9th of June 2022 at 16:01. I don’t recognise it at all, and no message was left behind. Given my own experience and what others have shared about this number on this site, I can't help but suspect it was likely a fishing expedition or some form of deception.

I received a call from someone claiming I qualified for a medical alert system. When I inquired further, they elaborated on the details. Ultimately, I mentioned that I wasn’t in need of such a service just yet and ended the conversation. The number that rang me was 01970 607717, a landline, by the way.

I received a call from what I suspect to be a medical alert scammer. The chap had a decent command of English, but he completely faltered when I inquired about the ‘local’ medical service that supposedly shared my information. He promptly ended the call!

I had a call from someone named John at Medical Alert. He claimed that their records indicated I might be eligible for a complimentary alert button. He asked me to verify my age, suggesting I confirm I'm over 50. I replied that if he had my information, he ought to know that already, but I wasn't going to validate anything. He thanked me for my time and promptly ended the call.

Just received a call from 01970607717 a mere five minutes back. The chap on the other end had quite the English twang and after informing him that he’d dialled the wrong number, I promptly ended the call. Quite the nuisance, to say the least!

Beware of a medical alert scam I've encountered. The caller had a rather convincing English accent and was quite persuasive in trying to extract personal details from me. It's really concerning how these scams operate—it’s a definite threat!

I received a call from someone with a British accent, who mentioned that I qualified for a complimentary medical alert pendant if I could just respond to three quick questions. However, when I told them I wasn't keen on the offer, they simply replied with an "Alright then." Very straightforward!

I can totally relate to what others have mentioned. I received a call promoting a complimentary medical alert pendant. They began by inquiring if I was over the age of 50, and that's when I decided to politely decline and ended the conversation. Just to note, I'm ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service too. It’s quite bothersome to receive such intrusive calls!

Cheers, folks! I received a call on my home phone from this number, which is supposed to be private and registered with the TPS. I didn’t pick up since the number and area code were unfamiliar to me! Aberystwyth, you say? Sounds like a classic case of a spam call, if you ask me!

Received a call from this number, where the individual asserted that I was eligible for a complimentary Medical Alert service and similar offers. I found the whole ordeal quite unsettling, especially since they mentioned they had snagged my number from a nearby 'Agency'. As someone living with a disability, this raised serious concerns for me, so I've promptly added this number to my block list.

I received a call from someone claiming to be John, who stated that I could be eligible for a medical alert device; he inquired if I was over the age of 50. I responded with, “I’m not sure who you are!” Following a rather awkward pause, he reiterated his introduction, although it sounded a touch altered, and he threw in some mention of his location—possibly Cornwall, though I have my doubts. He was quite articulate and courteous, lacking the typical insistent sales pitch I often encounter. Nevertheless, I declined and ended the call.
