I recently got a rather peculiar phone call from an individual purporting to represent the 'State Protection Service' at 01970607669. The chap went on about some supposed adjustments in Government regulations. While he was droning on, I took the liberty of typing the number into Google, and I was met with a plethora of search results and an avalanche of reviews dating back to the beginning of August 2022. It seems quite evident that we're witnessing the emergence of yet another round of scams, so do stay vigilant, everyone!

I received a rather dubious phone call purportedly from the state protection services in North London. They claimed it was concerning new legislation affecting individuals who might be entering residential care facilities. Apparently, they suggested that a lawyer could assist in preventing the government from seizing one’s assets and property. It all reeks of a scam to me!

A chap called my home phone chatting about reaching out to every household due to some recent government updates. When I inquired about the specifics of these changes, he flatly refused to provide any information, which raised my suspicions. I decided to end the call, as it was clearly a dodgy attempt to scam someone. Best to steer clear of this number!

I had a rather unsettling experience recently with what appeared to be a government agency linked to selling properties to fund care homes. I recall mentioning this earlier in posts dated 2nd September and 9th February. A chap by the name of James rang me up, and when I expressed my disinterest, he promptly hung up. It all has the hallmarks of a scam, if you ask me!
