From what I’ve seen here, it’s mostly those medic alert fraud calls or folk ringing about selling their houses to pay for care homes. I’ve had enough and put their number on the BLOCK list. Honestly, getting a call blocker device seems like the best way to stop all these annoying calls. Cuts down on the rubbish big time!

Got a call from someone saying I could get a medical alert necklace, asked how old I was to check if I qualified, and then I just ended the call.

I got a call from a number saying they were from Medical Alert Systems, tellin me I might qualify for a free medical alert button. They actually knew my name and said it was for older folks who might fall and need help. Sounds dodgy to me though. Best to be careful and not share any personal info over the phone, email, or texts like that. Could be a scam trying to get your details.

Before that, I got a call on my old number about some dodgy heating deal. I know Alex’s voice by heart now which is a bit of a nightmare. Today my husband picked up Instead of me but I could tell it was Alex straight away just from the sound of his voice in the other room!
