These lot are proper scammers. Even though I'm on the TPS list, they keep ringing me up. I decided to call back a few times, hit 2 to get through to an operator, and then mess about by trying to sell them a vibrating "pendant" for either men or women depending on who picks up. Sometimes I'd try to "sell" other stuff too. I always ask for their address but never answer their questions - I turn the tables and quiz them instead. Just remember to space out your calls so you don't make it too obvious. The best part? Have a laugh while doing it!

Some bloke rang up and kept going on about my butler, who picked up the phone, being at serious risk because of his age and family background. And if the life-saving bit doesn’t work, the family supposedly gets £10 million and a free subscription to their service for the next oldest person in trouble. I’m not sure if I’m ready to trust all that stuff just yet, need to mull it over first.

I revealed I was 46 and made it clear I had no use for such a device, all in an effort to gauge their persistence. To my surprise, they insisted I was in my 60s, suggesting I was jeopardising my wellbeing! Once I mentioned that I work in care and was well acquainted with the relevant statistics, they abruptly ended the call. Quite amusing, really! I'd certainly label it as a scam.

i got a call on 11/5/2022 at about 2:36pm from someone claiming to be from a medical alert company. they said i qualified for some sort of alert pendant and wanted to ask me some questions. i told them to hold on since i had some questions myself. when i asked where they were calling from, they said somewhere in dorset. then they tried their usual pitch again. i then asked how they got my details and why they thought i needed one of these pendants, and they just ended the call. watch out, this person seems to be targeting vulnerable folks.
