Got a call from someone saying they were from a “home improvement centre.” Honestly, their approach was pretty unprofessional. Definitely a nuisance, not worth my time.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a home improvement company, saying they were in my street handing out £100 vouchers. Thing is, my road’s pretty small and I’d definitely have noticed them around here if that were true. Feels like just another dodgy scam to me.

They rang me at 8:35 in the evening wanting me to do some dumb survey. Seriously, who thinks it’s okay to bother someone so late? I was furious, honestly boiling with anger. I had to tell the woman on the other end to buzz off. I’m actually thinking of getting rid of our landline because first, we hardly ever use it and secondly, it’s always telemarketers or call centres pestering us. Trust me, don’t pick up if this number calls! She even said their call centre closes at 9pm - what sort of nonsense is that?

I got a call where all I could hear was silence and some background chatter like a call centre. Guess it was some telemarketer who probably just dropped me to chat with another person they were ringing out at the same moment.
