I utilised my Facebook moniker, which differs from my official name, and referenced my previous address. They categorically refused to erase my information and connected me to a manager, who shockingly claimed I was calling from South Africa, despite my phone displaying it as coming from England. I repeatedly insisted that they remove my details, citing the Data Protection Act, which obliges companies to comply with such requests. Then, they had the audacity to ask me security questions, including my date of birth. When I declined to share that, they declared I had failed their security checks. I expressed my suspicions about their legitimacy, voicing concerns that I didn’t want some South African exploiting my identity to gain entry into the country. In response, they accused me of being racist.

Sounds like one of those insurance scams. They use loads of similar numbers. I just ask them straight up how much my monthly payment is and that normally shuts them down. They're just fishing for info. Flip it back on them and they kinda get stuck with nothing to say.

Got a ring from this number on my mobile the other day. Chatted briefly with a bloke who said he was doing a survey about life insurance. Oddly enough, about 2 minutes before that I got a call from 01925 394076, but that time it was a woman asking for my missus. Told him I couldn't really talk then, and he just hung up. Seems like one of those dodgy schemes with an auto dialler that switches numbers each time. Probably best to just ignore it.

When I said I already had insurance, he got annoyed and said he wasn’t trying to sell me anything.
