They called me claiming my life insurance for my partner was ready to pay out, but I had to send £151.99 within five minutes or the money wouldnt go into the right account and I'd lose it. Total rubbish, clearly a scam and really dodgy. Then yesterday, they tried again saying I was owed a refund for a hospital stay that was wrongly charged by the government because of some covid error! That was nonsense too, never paid a penny for hospital treatment. Completely fake calls.

Then they just started asking about my life insurance like I had some. Best just to block them. Feels like they’re trying to fish for private info, could be risky.

Got a call from this number about life insurance, told her I’m not with their company and she rattled off loads of other firms she supposedly works with. Told her mine wasnt on the list, then she used my old name which I haven’t used in years - bit fishy. Then she started asking for my age which set alarms ringing! She said I needed a review and to be put on her list, I told her I’d just done a review a few weeks ago so why wasn’t it showing? She asked what the review was about, I told her I have terminal cancer and she just hung up. Total scammer.

got a call on 090720, a guy with a South African accent on my Runcorn number claiming to be from some insurance review place asking about life insurance. I tried to keep him chatting for ages but he ended up just hanging up. I always try to keep these calls going as long as I can cos if they’re stuck talking to me, they ain’t wasting anyone else’s time. Plus, I find it pretty amusing to mess with them a bit too.

In a fit of frustration, I rang them back multiple times, intending to give them a taste of their own medicine.
