When it rang again today, I just let the voicemail pick up instead. Didn’t leave any message. Sounds like one of those annoying calls that loads of people have had. Got a call from some pushy bloke claiming he was with several big life insurance firms, saying I hadn’t had my life insurance review yet and I was supposedly entitled to one. I told him I’d already sorted it, cheers. But he went on a bit, rambling about trusts he could sort out for nothing. I just chuckled and went quiet. After about 45 seconds of silence, he suddenly hung up. The best bit was when I tried to get a word in and he told me, “Can you not interrupt me please, I’m talking.” Proper cheeky!

Got a call from a woman named Amber who asked for me directly. She started asking all sorts about my life insurance. When I said I don’t have any, she wondered why not. Then she went on about making sure my kids are looked after after I’m gone. I told her my kids are actually better off financially than I am, and that’s when she just hung up on me.
